"Telling the truth without compromising your privacy..." What does that mean? I told this to someone days ago... if you're reading my blog, like every minute, even without any new post, you would know my background, sort of... Like I said a long time ago... I used to be an online marketer... someone that created fake profiles in Facebook in order to lure men to visit the X-rated dating website that I was promoting... I told the truth, guess some people could not accept it easily...?
In any case, a Facebook contact posted my real photo in one of my fake accounts without my permission... that is, without my permission. I told him through comments on his blog that I am all for telling the truth without compromising my privacy... Privacy... like you're favorite color is pink, and you don't want everybody to know for unknown reasons - that's privacy. People should respect that... and I already told to this Facebook contact that I would post my real pic one of these upcoming days... but no, he posted it, plus typing a comment below my photo - my photo, my God - related to sex... sick...
Telling the truth without compromising your privacy... is that very difficult to understand?
In any case, I shall watch out for this man, I guess... I mean, it's one of my worries now... what if, one way or another, I get famous? And not just someone famous? But famous worldwide? Like, the 6 billion people on Earth - 6 billion (is it still 6 billion or what?) - knows of you? And all of this is hanging right just behind me?
I did a lot of stupid things in the past, and I wish they never happened, but they did... and I won't do them ever again, for sure... but God... now hearing Andrea Boccelli from TV singing... "The Prayer"? Wow, how ironic... and wrong spelling in Boccelli... it's Bocelli, not Boccelli.

Top 10 Facebook Etiquette Rules It's time that social media starts following the real life rules of common courtesy.
I just read this awhile ago, and I really found it very entertaining and hilarious :-) Go read :-)
Top 10 Facebook Etiquette Rules
It's time that social media starts following the real life rules of common courtesy.
by Tom Miller
Facebook, like nuclear technology, is a tool that can be used for good as well as evil. And there are clearly some people who lack the ability (or desire) to use either responsibly.
One of my all-time favorite Facebook stories involved a recent college graduate backtracking it to the old Alma Mater (it wasn't Tucker Max) on a recruiting trip. He went to a neighborhood watering hole, flashed some of that first-year cash and, later, worked on his night moves with a fine, young coed. Unfortunately, he knew she was going to Facebook (it's a verb now) him and he still had a few days in College Town, USA. So, he did the prudent thing and changed his status to Single. He and his old old girl were on the rocks and he thought he'd enjoy the rest of the trip. This was how now ex-girlfriend found out. She was dumped by Facebook.
And because this is neither Vietnam nor the Wild West, we decided to implement some rules of etiquette for Mark Zuckerberg's handiwork. Here are the top 10 rules of etiquette for using Facebook responsibly in and around relationships:
10) Relationship status is a mutual decision. As illustrated above, lots of problems can arise from a unilateral status change. All of your friends get that update in real time, not a fun way to find out that the dream is over.
9) It's OK to look through your friend's friends for people you might want to meet/ date/ friend. It's not OK to skip the middleman on the introduction. I get freaked out when anyone I don't know tries to friend** me. I assume they're trying to sell me something, stalking me or both. As always, be mindful of friend-poaching, it's not cool.
8) Ask first before friending a close friend's ex-squeeze. It's common courtesy and it's part of the Bro Code.
7) It's OK to remain friends with someone you used to date on Facebook. We can be grownups about this. Just prepare yourself to see some status updates that you could probably do without.
6) Posting a ton of pics, vids and comments regarding a recent, failed relationship is a bad idea. If you need a lifeline, phone a friend don't ask the audience.
5) As with all things, there is such thing as too much information. The airing grievances are best done over email, telephone and brunch. Likewise, starting a group about how "John Tucker must die," while possibly cathartic, smacks of sour grapes. Starting a Facebook group called "I Hooked Up With Dane Cook And All I Got Was This Lousy Comedy CD" is, however, hilarious. Also, keep them photos safe for work.
4) This is sort of an addendum to 2 previous rules, but it bears it's own space: don't friend an ex's new squeeze if you're not actually friends. It's easy not friending someone. In fact, it takes more energy to friend someone than not friend them. Nothing good can come of this. It's the social media equivalent of John Cusack watching through the eyes of John Malkovich's daughter as Cameron Diaz and Catherine Keener kiss in the end of Being John Malkovich. No, life isn't fair.
3) Know the difference between the Wall and a message. Facebook should devise a multiple-choice test for every new member. It will include questions like: The note "I luv u sooooo much baaaaaaaaby. I can't waaaaaaait too seeee u 2nite" belongs in A) a private message; B) the Wall; or C) a coloring book for the mentally-special. In addition, know when and whom to Poke, Super Poke, Gift and, if it exists, Super Gift.
2) Again, the interweb is not a therapy session and shouldn't be used with severely impaired judgment. For instance, there are only 2 occasions when you tell someone that you had a huge crush on them in high school (if you must): a best-selling memoir or in a situation where you think this may get them to sleep with you… in the next 15 minutes. Definitely not on their Facebook Wall.
1) Above all other rules (in this actually is in the Facebook rules), do not create a fake page as a way to punish an ex. Creating a page about your old flame and including; "pooping in the bed," "giving people crabs" and "stealing from people I date" as favorite pastimes may seem funny, but it's petty and it's a pretty good way to get sued for like $40,000 (see the case of Raphael, Grant).
Follow these 10 simple rules and people across the land will say, "Hey, that [insert your name] is pretty responsible with [insert your gender-specific possessive pronoun] use of Facebook in a relationships setting."
*A big thankya to the rest of the YourTango team for helping me fill this list.
**Word to the wise, 'friending' is OK to use as verb {gerund, really} in reference to social media, please use 'befriending' in all other verb situations.

Have you already set up your own Facebook username?
I got mine yesterday... that is, for my real account... and I was very, very happy about it :-) Up to now, still happy :-) The main purpose is to direct your friends and family straight to your Facebook profile without difficulties :-) Instead of having your profile read like this:
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=000000000000000
you could choose your own username! Like this!
http://www.facebook.com/mynameonly
Besides, I am so totally in-love with my name that if it weren't available yesterday, I might have gotten depressed... ok, that's over-acting. But it's because my name is not unique. Whenever I would join social networking sites, with a feature like this, i.e. create your own link, it would be like: "The name '*' is not available." So that's why I truly waited for the time! June 13th, at exactly 12:01am.
If you haven't got one, then do it now! Click the link below:

Which social network is appealing for you? The closed one, or the open one?
We have two types of social networking sites. There is the exclusive (i.e. invitation-only. Ex. A Small World, Very International People, Decayenne), and the open (you can create an account in less than a minute. Ex. Facebook, Friendster, Tagged). Some say that if you want to meet people of quality, you should be able to join the exclusive sites... but actually, that is not true all the time.
There are times that you will meet people in the exclusive sites that act like barbarians, and there are times that you will meet true people in the "second-class sites". Don't be offended, I don't. I love Facebook with all my heart... which reminds me... a long time ago, in one of these "exclusive" sites... (ok, funny for some, but not for the others. It could depend on your humor...), this executive-looking person said he would never, ever join Facebook because his maid was on it, that he would rather stick with the exclusive site....
But, again, it depends on the people that you meet... it depends on the online behavior of the person...
Why am I writing this? It must be me... I miss the old times, I guess... I am nostalgic... because there is this site, semi-exclusive and semi-open, where I used to have a lot of friends... but now... I don't know what happened, or why it happened... Oh, ha ha... don't get me wrong, I did not start any fight or whatsoever... I just... miss... the old times... But then again, everybody can't be my friend... or maybe I'm not meant to have any friend online or whatsoever, except for the people who read my blog all the time... even though you don't give your comment, you take your time to read my blog... unless it's all an accident, you wandering here...
Now, my goal is to befriend the world :-) Wherever site I am on... :-) Or, maybe... my goal is to befriend the world of Facebook :-)

Transition... Saying Goodbye... :-)
After a very long careful consideration... I am now leaving my job... :-) No more promoting dating websites... I will keep my Facebook account, my contacts (because all of you have been of great help for me... I learned a lot of things...), but not my pictures... they are all "borrowed"...
In the beginning, I promised to the company that hired me that I would do my best... I guess I lied, just to be hired... just to earn... because I had no choice, then... I wish this didn't happen... I can't do my best. I can't even bring huge traffic to the dating website that I am promoting...
But I have a choice... :-) No more lies... You will still hear from me from time to time... besides, you've all been good to me! You are all great people!
It is just that... I am not who you think I am... I am very sorry for this... truly, truly sorry...
And now, to answer questions that might trigger you...
1. I am female, 100%.
2. I am thin.
3. I don't like talking about sex. I prefer informative things, like international relations, current events.
4. I am not ugly.
5. I am thin, unhealthy looking.
More questions? Feel free to message me. Anytime, any way, anywhere.

"Dating: Foreigners or your own nationality?"
I saw this post in a social networking site where I am in, written by someone named Meredith. Here is half of the post:
"
Dating: Foreigners or your own nationality?
do you find yourself attracted to people of other nationalities for relationships or do you generally stick to people from your own country?
....
"
Furthermore, as an expatriate, she added she has not dated any American since she was 19... so she definitely like the foreign guys...
Well, it must be me, too... but foreign guys... are like mysterious ;-) Because they are different from you. Sometimes, I just like people who are different from me, coming from a different background, with a different culture... because I learn a lot from them :-)
But then, of course, from time to time, I would want someone who could easily understand why I could do silly things... like, uh, why I like Tom Cruise very much, even if everybody calls him crazy ;-)

How will a girl know if a guy likes her?
How will a girl know if a guy likes her? And not simply because of sex?
By calling her simply to talk about nothing, even though it means everything to the guy?
By frequently sending her text messages?
Or emails?
By saying words that have double meanings in front of the girl?
Because, sometimes, I don't understand men... This reminds me of someone... I specifically told him not to send me an email for a few number of days... he still sent me one. When he courted me, I already told him I didn't want him to be my boyfriend, he still didn't give up.
I mean... are guys like that? When a girl already says "No," (that is, a very clear "No") they simply don't give up?

Which is your favorite police / detective / agent pair?
Some may not know it, but I know how to appreciate action movies ;-) Especially if the men starring are hot (or not)!
Now, along the years, I have seen some young man-old man team-ups (not love teams) of very great actors. I am referring to apprentice learning from master and master teaching apprentice roles. Some do have chemistry, while others... may need to act more or something. Hmm... am I becoming a movie critic? Absolutely not!
Now here are the pairs that I am talking about...
1. Sean Connery & Wesley Snipes in "Rising Sun" - Wesley Snipes is ok... but Sean Connery is hot! You (or I) could actually feel the vibration of his aura, just right there, knocking on the screen! I like him very much here, like I like him in the movie "Entrapment". I mean, ok, wish Sean were of the same age like me :-) Hmm... maybe because most of his roles are like he is a very intelligent man who saves the world all the time ;-)
2. Morgan Freeman & Brad Pitt in "Seven" - A very good film... and this could be the film in which I watched, and I didn't fall either for Brad or Morgan... they are very formal here, especially Morgan... and Brad is taken. I mean, ok, it's a suspense-thriller, serious movie, so, naturally, no giggles.
3. Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith in "Men in Black" movies - First movie: great, superb, muy excelente. Second installment: no. However, they are absolutely great together! And, actually, Tommy Lee is funny, even if he has that serious look all the time ;-) Will Smith is funny, as well!
4. Harrison Ford & Josh Hartnett in "Hollywood Homicide" - Story: Policemen investigating the murders of four men, members of a rap group who were gunned down in a nightclub (ok, got that info in Wikipedia. Next sentences, mine). One is a young officer who teaches yoga, the other a part-time real estate broker.
Actors are over-acting, especially Josh (and to think he's good-looking). Worst scenes: when each of them is being interrogated by other agents. I mean, duh... but at least it's not Guantanamo Bay. Still, I could not laugh with this movie.
Any violent reaction? You could send me a message ;-) And don't worry, I don't bite!

SuperLingual! (Part 1)
Who am I? Who am I? Someone dreaming to speak 10 languages someday :-) I already know English, Tagalog... I can read and write in Spanish... What else... studying Russian alphabet and Japanese alphabet... My target is 10... and if God wills it, 20 or more :-)
History (kind of) how I started studying these languages:
1. Tagalog - well, this is my mother tongue! Ever since a child, I spoke this! Maybe there are Tagalog words that I don't know, but ok... I'm a native Tagalog speaker... Tagalog words that I don't know of? Well, you know, those Shakespearean-like words.
2. English - When I was a kid, my mother used to read this book... what's that? Where you could read words like, "Run, child, run." ...In any case, yes, just like Tagalog, I started to learn English early... however, I may state here that I'm not that very, very fluent in English. It is my second language, and we speak Tagalog here all the time...
3. Spanish - My first encounter with real Spanish studying was when I was in college. Unfortunately, due to immaturity, I was not wise enough then to take this subject seriously. It took me three years before I gained the seriousness to study this language again. The book that truly helped me to study languages again is "Spanish Without the Fuss" (correct title?) by Living Language... after that, I would frequent second-hand bookstores to buy cheap books that could teach me Spanish... so, yes, soy autodidacta. I am self-taught... and the book that inspired me to study languages again was a second-hand book... i.e. the book that I have just mentioned...
4. Italian - The same with Spanish... only months later... this used to be my major in college... but not anymore. I also taught myself how to speak (or, at least, understand) Italian... I also started with the book "Italian Without the Fuss" (correct title again?) of Living Language... and the book was brand new when I bought it...
5. French - No "French Without The Fuss"... I mean... in order to learn French, I bought second-books that could not really satisfy my learning needs... However, I did learn some French... though not enough to survive, just like Italian...
I still have two languages to explain, Russian and Japanese, but I am running late... I will explain maybe on my next blog...
Earn Extra Money Through Pay-Per-Click Affiliate Programs ;-)
Answer to Sean's question:
I recently joined some pay-per-click affiliate programs. I mean, ok, not that many people are following my blogs, not that many people will click on the ads... but this is a start for me ;-) And, actually, I prefer this than promoting a dating website... though have to be honest, promoting the dating website made me wiser (I mean, my boss is getting richer because he hired people to do the job, attracting people to click on the link... so why I can't do the same thing ;-)

My first blog ;-)
What to say? Oh... in front me, my two cats are sitting on top of the computer... One is named Cuchi (sounds like Ku-chi), her fur a comination of yellow and white... my other cat is Camshaft (a part of your vehicle ;-), her fur a combination of three colors: yellow, white and black...
The truth? Well, not all people might understand... but I simply promote the dating website because it is part of the tasks of my full-time job... however, creating is all another topic... I am hoping to study again... and I am making plans of making more funds... so here I am, writing whatever comes to my mind... the real me... plus the ads... for my affiliate program... I hope this will really help me... I am planning to go to Oxford University on year 2012... planning to take up a degree related to Japanese language... countdown starts now... :-)
