We have two types of social networking sites. There is the exclusive (i.e. invitation-only. Ex. A Small World, Very International People, Decayenne), and the open (you can create an account in less than a minute. Ex. Facebook, Friendster, Tagged). Some say that if you want to meet people of quality, you should be able to join the exclusive sites... but actually, that is not true all the time.
There are times that you will meet people in the exclusive sites that act like barbarians, and there are times that you will meet true people in the "second-class sites". Don't be offended, I don't. I love Facebook with all my heart... which reminds me... a long time ago, in one of these "exclusive" sites... (ok, funny for some, but not for the others. It could depend on your humor...), this executive-looking person said he would never, ever join Facebook because his maid was on it, that he would rather stick with the exclusive site....
But, again, it depends on the people that you meet... it depends on the online behavior of the person...
Why am I writing this? It must be me... I miss the old times, I guess... I am nostalgic... because there is this site, semi-exclusive and semi-open, where I used to have a lot of friends... but now... I don't know what happened, or why it happened... Oh, ha ha... don't get me wrong, I did not start any fight or whatsoever... I just... miss... the old times... But then again, everybody can't be my friend... or maybe I'm not meant to have any friend online or whatsoever, except for the people who read my blog all the time... even though you don't give your comment, you take your time to read my blog... unless it's all an accident, you wandering here...
Now, my goal is to befriend the world :-) Wherever site I am on... :-) Or, maybe... my goal is to befriend the world of Facebook :-)
